When and where is the Forum?
REITWeek 2009: NAREIT's Investor Forum® will take place June 3-5 at the Waldorf=Astoria in New York, NY. The Waldorf=Astoria is located at 301 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10022.
How can I register for the Forum?
All registrants need to be pre-approved to attend the Forum. Each person needs to request an invitation and if they qualify, a registration form will be sent via e-mail that must be filled out to be registered. Go to the "Request An Invitation Tab".
Once I am qualified to attend and receive my registration information, do I need to pre-register for the Forum?
Yes, this is an invitation only conference and you must pre-register to attend. A fee will be charged for on-site registrations. THIS IS A POLICY CHANGE BEING IMPLEMENTED FOR THIS YEAR'S REITWEEK.
How do I reserve a hotel room?
NAREIT has arranged a block of rooms at a discounted rate at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel. To receive the discounted rate, you must first register for the Forum. For more information on the hotel, please visit the "Hotel Information" tab.
Will I receive a confirmation for the conference and the hotel?
Yes, conference confirmations are sent via e-mail to each attendee once their registration form is processed. Confirmation e-mails for the hotel are sent separately from Staged Right Events/CGXI, NAREIT's housing company. Conference registrations are processed and confirmed from the NAREIT headquarters in Washington DC. Hotel reservations are processed and confirmed from Staged Right Events/CGXI offices in North Miami Beach, Florida. Please allow 5-6 business days from the time of submission to receive confirmations.
What is the dress attire for the conference?
Dress attire for all conference events is business.
Do you have to be a NAREIT member to attend the conference?
No, all Qualified Buy-Side Institutions can attend the Forum. In order to become a member, please visit the "Membership Application" tab.
Employees and Officers of REITs that are NOT members of NAREIT may NOT attend this meeting. The REIT must be a NAREIT member.
How much does it cost to attend the conference?
Registration is complimentary to Qualified Buy-side Institutions. If you are an employee of an investment bank, please contact Chris Flood for sponsorship information. Investment banks must be sponsors of the Forum.
