Tax Cut Bill Vetoed By President Clinton (September 23, 1999)
On September 23, 1999, President Clinton vetoed H.R. 2488, the Taxpayer Refund and Relief Act of 1999. It is not clear whether Congress and the Administration will reach agreement on any tax legislation this year.
