AMB Property Corporation (NYSE: AMB) appointed Arthur Tielens vice president and regional manager for Europe and Mo Barzegar chief investment officer for Europe.

Chris Payne was promoted to vice president of development for AvalonBay Communities, Inc. (NYSE: AVB).

BRE Properties, Inc. (NYSE: BRE) announced John McMahan's decision to step down as chairman. The board elected L. Michael Foley as the company's non-executive chairman. Also, Constance B. Moore, who is currently BRE's president and chief operating officer, will become chief executive officer upon the retirement of Frank McDowell, effective Dec. 31, 2004.

Tom G. Charlesworth will relinquish his role as chief financial officer of Cousins Properties Incorporated (NYSE: CUZ) at the end of this year. He will continue to serve as an executive vice president and chief investment officer, as well as senior advisor to President and CEO Tom Bell. James A. Fleming was named executive vice president and assumed the responsibilities of CFO in August. Additionally, Craig B. Jones will become an executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Mark A. Russell has been promoted to senior vice president and senior investment officer.

Thomas L. Hefner, Darrell E. "Gene" Zink Jr., and Gary A. Burk, former executives of Duke Realty Corporation (NYSE: DRE) (all of whom recently retired, but remain chairman and vice chairmen of the board of directors, respectively) have been awarded Indiana's highest honor, the Sagamore of the Wabash, by Governor Joseph Kernan. The award is a personal tribute from the serving governor, usually given to those who have rendered a distinguished service to the state.

Donna Brandin has joined Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR) as executive vice president and CFO.

The Southeast Florida Apartment Association honored Gables Residential Trust (NYSE: GBP) with the "2004 Property Management Company of the Year" Rainbow Award. The Rainbow Awards are given to promote professionalism within the multifamily housing industry in Southeast Florida. Also, Gables announced that David Fitch will assume the role of president in addition to his chief investment officer responsibilities.

Jeffrey H. Miller has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president and general counsel for Health Care REIT, Inc. (NYSE: HCN).

Heritage Property Investment Trust, Inc. (NYSE: HTG) announced that Robert G. Prendergast has been appointed senior vice president and COO. Also, David C. Sweester, vice president of business development, assumed responsibility for the company's property management and construction departments.

Inland Real Estate Corporation (NYSE: IRC) appointed Brett A. Brown as CFO, replacing Mark E. Zalatoris, who continues to serve as executive vice president, COO and treasurer.

Timothy M. Jones resigned as president from Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE: CLI), while CEO Mitchell E. Hersh assumed the additional title of president.

Parkway Properties, Inc. (NYSE: PKY) was honored as one of the 50 "Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America," a list generated by the Great Place to Work Institute, Inc.

Rayonier Inc. (NYSE: RYN) elected W. Edwin Frazier, III to succeed John P. O'Grady as senior vice president, administration and corporate secretary.
