CB Richard Ellis Investors named Vic Bucchere managing director of acquisitions for the firm's U.S. managed accounts group. Previously, he served as senior acquisitions officer for the eastern United States and also as regional manager of CBRE Investors' Boston office.

Developers Diversified Realty (NYSE: DDR) named Marc H. Feldman director of strategic partnerships.

Mark J. Parrell was named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR). He previously served as the company's senior vice president and treasurer.

First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR) named Robert J. Walter senior vice president, capital markets. He previously served as senior vice president for U.S. Bank Corporation.

Forest City Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: FCE) announced that Thomas Smith, chief financial officer, will retire in April 2008. Robert O'Brien, executive vice president of finance and investment, will replace him.

Michael Pralle, former president and CEO of GE Real Estate, joined J.E. Robert Cos., a real estate and commercial mortgage investment and asset management firm, as president and chief operating officer.

GMH Communities Trust (NYSE: GMH) named Marina Dikos chief accounting officer. Previously, she was the REIT's corporate controller.

Hilton Hotels Corporation announced Christopher Nassetta was appointed president and CEO. Previously, Nassetta was president and CEO of Host Hotels & Resorts' (NYSE: HST).

Jack Potts was named principal accounting officer of Inland American Real Estate Trust, Inc. Previously, he held positions in accounting and financial reporting for Equity Office Properties Trust.

Regency Centers (NYSE: REG) recently announced a series of promotions within its West Coast operations. Erwin Bucy was named senior vice president of investments for Southern California. Doug Shaffer was named senior vice president of operations for the Pacific region, and Jeff Badstubner was named regional officer for Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Outside of the West Coast, Barry Argalas was named senior vice president of national acquisitions and dispositions, and Alan Roth was named senior vice president of operations for the Northeast region.

The Reznick Group named A. Mitchell Poole, Jr. chief operating officer in October.

Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) made two appointments to its board of directors in October. Ventas named Douglas Crocker II as presiding director and Ronald G. Geary as chair of the audit and compliance committee.

Wachovia Securities named Jim Taylor head of real estate investment banking.

Thomas L. Regnell was named senior vice president of acquisitions of Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (NYSE: WRE). Previously, he was managing director of acquisitions.

Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) CEO David Simon was named chairman of SPG's board of directors. Company founders Mel and Herb Simon, who had been serving as co-chairmen, were named Chairmen Emeriti.

Lisa M. Brush joined Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) as senior vice president, senior housing development and operations.
