Acadia Realty Trust (NYSE: AKR) said John Gottfried will succeed Jon Grisham as CFO. Grisham previously announced his intention to retire. 

Boston Properties, Inc. (NYSE: BXP) elected Michael Walsh to the position of senior vice president and chief accounting officer. Walsh rejoins the company after most recently serving as executive vice president, CFO and treasurer of Paramount Group, Inc. (NYSE: PGRE).

Brixmor Property Group Inc. (NYSE: BRX) named Angela Aman as CFO. She succeeds Barry Lefkowitz, who has held the position on an interim basis since February 2016. Brixmor also announced the appointment of Mark Horgan as executive vice president and chief investment officer. 

Thomas August was named president and CEO of DDR Corp. (NYSE: DDR). August has previously served as CEO of two listed REITs. Luke Petherbridge stepped down as CFO and treasurer of DDR Corp. to assume the position of president and CEO of Excel Trust. Christa Vesy, executive vice president and chief accounting officer, will also serve as CFO on an interim basis.

Franklin Street Properties Corp. (NYSE: FSP) announced a series of leadership changes: Eriel Anchondo, who joined the company in 2015 as senior vice president for operations, was elected executive vice president and COO. Jeffrey Carter was elected president and will continue to serve as chief investment officer. John Donahue was named executive vice president, and he was also named president and CEO of FSP Property Management LLC. Janet Notopoulos retired from her position as executive vice president.

Michael Carroll was named CEO of Devonshire REIT, Inc., a private REIT. Carroll was formerly the CEO of Brixmor.

HCP, Inc. (NYSE: HCP) announced that President and CEO Lauralee Martin resigned. Executive Chairman Michael McKee will fill the roles on an interim basis. Also, HCP appointed Tom Herzog as executive vice president and CFO. 

Brendan Maiorana has been named vice president of finance and investor relations at Highwoods Properties, Inc. (NYSE: HIW). 

Hilton Worldwide tapped Thomas Baltimore, Jr. as president and CEO of the new REIT it plans to form later this year. Baltimore was a co-founder of RLJ Lodging Trust (NYSE: RLJ) and served as CEO since the company’s initial public offering in 2011. Ross Bierkan, executive vice president and chief investment officer of RLJ, was named interim CEO.

Liberty Property Trust (NYSE: LPT) said Christopher Papa has been appointed executive vice president and CFO. Papa will replace George Alburger, who is retiring from Liberty at the end of the year after assisting with the transition.

Paula Maggio has been appointed to serve as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at Retail Properties of America, Inc. (NYSE: RPAI). Maggio succeeds Dennis Holland, who previously announced that he would retire. 

Spirit Realty Capital, Inc. (NYSE: SRC) appointed Jay Young as executive vice president and general counsel. 

Urban Edge Properties (NYSE: UE) named Bernie Schachter as executive vice president for asset management. 

Wheeler Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. (NASDAQ: WHLR) is realigning its executive management team. Effective July 31, it will eliminate the role of COO. 

WP Glimcher Inc. (NYSE: WPG) announced the resignation of Michael Glimcher as vice chairman, CEO and director. Louis Conforti, a director of the company, was named as interim CEO. WP Glimcher also said it plans to change the company name to Washington Prime Group Inc.
